Jerez de la Frontera is the complete name of the municipality that is Jerez. The city is located in the Cadiz province in Andalusia together with other municipalities and cities such as: Huelva, Seville, Cordoba, Jaen, Jerez, Malaga and Almería. The city is served primarily by Jerez Airport which is also known as La Parra Airport. Another museum of note is the Atalaya Watch Museum which is also known as the Palace of TIme.
In the municipality is the Feria del Caballo, an unmissable destination as it is open to everyone unlike the one in Seville. Aside from being the centre for horsemanship and Flamenco, Jerez de La Frontera is known as the capital of sherry wine in the world.
